I've been in a weird sleeping slump the last few days. i suffer from horrible pms and when it's that time..i get unbelievably sleepy. it's digusting b/c i don't care what i have done or what i haven't done...sleep is my priority. so i haven't touched my booties since weds. i went to Simpatico today to knit...i got there 30 min before they were going to close b/c i took a horrific nap that lasted too long. anyway...so i got there and got too busy talking...no time to knit. LOL but i got an email today. knitty.com is updated!! YAY!!! I saw a man's sweater in there i want to make. It's called Leo (http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall04/PATTleo.html). i want to make one for my brother and for a friend of mine. we'll see if i ever do it. i could have my brother's sweater done before thanksgiving which would be nice. i bought my plane tickets to go back home. they were $100 higher than they usually are. airline bastards. today's knitty gritty is about illusion knitting. it's so cool. i want to make a sweater that has hello kitty illusioned into it. hahaahaha. i wish. i need to chart out kitty for me. or i could put her on a scarf. man..that would be awesome.|W|P|109486629498838240|W|P|pictures? what pictures?|W|P|purse.ho@gmail.com9/09/2004 01:50:00 AM|W|P|Jen Da Purse Ho|W|P|I finished the Teddy bear yestserday. he's so cute. I need to post pics of him once i take them. in due time. maybe tomorrow. i'm still not too crazy about his color. this DEEEEEEP dark purple. it's just not teddy-ish you know? i would rather a nice normal brown bear. or maybe a light pink one. ;) I started the Knitty Gritty Ugg booties today. so far i'm half done w/ one booty. I'm too pre-occupied w/ moving right now. i shoudln't even be knitting as much as i have been!! LOL. but i can't pack 24 hours a day. :'( i'll post my progress tomorrow. i need to make sure to grab my camera tomorrow and just start snapping away. i'm so tired. it's 1am and i'm still up after some horrendous nap i took tonight. sigh...why is meee?? |W|P|109470918865216230|W|P|Teddy is done!! now onto the Uggs!!|W|P|purse.ho@gmail.com9/05/2004 11:49:00 PM|W|P|Jen Da Purse Ho|W|P|Ok. i've finished the teddy bear, but I need to sew on his ears properly and sew on his face. :) hehehehe. i'm happy w/ how he came out...but i think i stuffed him too much. so i need to even out his stuffing. :) you can see them coming out of the stitches. hahahaa. he's cute. i'm stil not too sure about the color. it's a DEEEEEEP purple. Barbara suggested I name him Cesear Augustus. Since he was started in August...and he's a deep purple signifying royalty. haahah. as of now he is nameless...and still leaning toward it being a "HIM". haha right now one of my favorite movies is on..."You've Got Mail". I love this movie just because it's quirky and i LOVE meg ryan romantic comedies...esp if Tom Hanks is in them. It makes me think that NYC is the place to be. hehee. i've never been there...but i really wanna go. Esp in the fall just to see what it's like.
